De Dietrich Remeha formed in July 2004 when Remeha, a Dutch firm, and the French firm De Dietrich Thermique, merged.  With headquarters located in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, De Dietrich Remeha is a main manufacturer and distributor of residential and commercial water and space heating systems.  With the addition of the British Baxi Group, the BDR Thermea Group was formed in 2009.  The brand names for BDR Thermea Group include De Dietrich Thermique, Remeha, Oertli and Sofath.

De Dietrich was founded in 1684 when Jean Dietrich purchased the Jaegerthal forge.  In 1761, Jean Dietrich, the grandson of Jean Dietrich, was knighted by King Louis XV.  As the largest landowner in Alsace, he amassed an industrial empire through the building and acquisition of multiple iron works and blast furnaces.  King Louis XVI granted Dietrich the trademark of a hunting horn which would protect his products from imitations.  This same symbol is used on De Dietrich products today.

The mission of De Dietrich Remeha is to “provide thermal comfort solutions which bring the very best in performance, whatever the requirements.”  De Dietrich offers a variety of heating and residential hot water systems, as well as   boilers (both residential and commercial), heat pumps, solar applications, hot water tanks, control panels and air conditioning systems (mono and multi-splits).

De Dietrich Remeha Group is continuously pursuing renewable energy technologies while providing high performance solutions, anticipating the future and demanding quality.  De Dietrich products are distributed worldwide in more than 60 countries.
